Dave Cerminara is a producer, mixer, and engineer based in Los Angeles. After moving west from Pittsburgh in 2015, Dave quickly amassed an impressive list of credits and collaborators.
He began working alongside producer Lars Stalfors on pristine alt rock recordings for Cold War Kids, Foster the People, HEALTH, and The Neighbourhood, and later became Jonathan Wilson’s go-to engineer.
At Wilson’s studio, Cerminara engineered and mixed Father John Misty’s deadpan Americana on God’s Favorite Customer, the grand guitar-rock of Dawes’ Passwords, and Wilson’s danceable, cinematic solo effort, Rare Birds.
Cerminara’s most recent work includes a production credit on “Heaven,” from Khalid’s Free Spirit, recording and mixing Florence + The Machine’s “Haunted House,” and engineering Weyes Blood’s lush, ambitious LP Titanic Rising. He currently shares a studio with Stalfors in North Hollywood.
