Released in August of 1974, Sally Can’t Dance is the fourth solo studio album by American glam rock musician, Lou Reed.  Recorded entirely at Electric Lady Studios, the album is Reed’s highest-charting album of all time.

Sally Can’t Dance reached the Top 10 in the United States and was his first album to not feature songs originally recorded by his band, the Velvet Underground.

Notable Mention: The album was the first of Reed’s solo albums to be recorded in the United States.
