Electric Lady is proud to have hosted overdub and mix sessions for Arcade Fire’s fourth studio album, Reflektor, with resident mix engineer, Tom Elmhirst. Co-produced by LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy, Markus Dravs, and the band, the album was released Oct. 28th, 2013 on the Merge Records label. Reflektor marked our first-ever sessions with the band and re-introduced David Bowie to the facility for his feature on the title track.
Notable Mentions: Reflektor’s release was preceded by a guerrilla marketing campaign inspired by veve drawings (Haitian Voodou tradition), and the release of a limited edition single, “Reflektor”, credited to the fictional band, The Reflektors, on September 9, 2013.
