The Blessed Unrest is the third full-length studio album by American singer-songwriter Sara Bareilles. Engineered, co-produced and mixed by resident engineer John O’Mahony at Electric Lady Studios, the album was released on July 12, 2013 through Epic Records. It sold 68,000 copies in its first week of release in the United States and debuted at number 2 on the Billboard 200, behind Jay-Z’s Magna Carta…Holy Grail.
Notable Mention: When Bareilles announced the 18-city Brave Enough Tour ahead of the album’s release, tickets to the solo acoustic tour sold out in just three minutes.
