Black Holes and Revelations is the fourth studio album by the English alternative rock band Muse, released in July, 2006. The album is a BPI (British Phonographic Industry) triple platinum album, and was nominated for a Mercury Prize. A large portion of the album was recorded and mixed at Electric Lady Studios with the album’s co-producer, Rich Costey, who was a resident of the studio at the time.
Notable Mention: The album’s sleeve was designed by famed graphic artist, Storm Thorgerson, creator of Pink Floyd’s iconic Dark Side of the Moon, and Led Zeppelin’s Houses of the Holy covers.
