Born and Raised is John Mayer’s fifth studio album and was released, May 22nd, 2012 on the Columbia Records label. Produced by Don Was, it was John’s third number one album on Billboard 200 and was Mayer’s first album to spend more than one week atop the chart. The album marks yet another change in Mayer’s musical style, incorporating musical elements of folk and Americana that take influences from Bob Dylan, Neil Young, David Crosby, and Graham Nash.
