Moonrise Kingdom Soundtrack

Moonrise Kingdom is a 2012 American romantic comedy-drama directed by Wes Anderson, written by Anderson and Roman Coppola. The soundtrack is one of Anderson’s more cinematic collections, recorded partially at Electric Lady Studios.  It relies heavily on composer Benjamin Britten’s work, and was performed by Leonard Bernstein and the New York Philharmonic. The soundtrack also includes work from Hank Williams, as well as original pieces by Anderson’s trusted composers Alexandre Desplat and Mark Mothersbaugh, among others.
