Featuring the world’s only purple SSL 9000J console, Studio B has long been a favorite among artists, producers, and mix engineers.
The intimate “B” room has hosted countless legendary sessions, including the recording of Patti Smith’s Horses and the mixing of D’Angelo’s Voodoo. In 2009, it became the home base for renowned mixer Michael Brauer, who spent nearly a decade shaping award-winning major-label albums and beloved indie releases alike.
Reopened for commercial bookings in 2018, Studio B remains a top choice for mixing, but has been thoughtfully expanded to recording and production capabilities—having hosted such artists as Frank Ocean, SZA, Rosalía and Lorde.
